  25. Nobody denies that the low-end stock A1200 is behind the times.  I think 
  26. some of us should relax until March/April when the upgraded low-end Amiga
  27. is revealed.

  29. After they are revealed, it will be up to Amiga Technologies to market
  30. them on a substantial level and lower the price a bit aiming at quantity
  31. sales a bit more to get their income rather than a lot per machine.

  33. These newer machines with the Surfer pack and whatever else will sell a lot
  34. better than the current A1200, no doubt about that, as long as they don't
  35. hike the price on us... best bet would be to lower it a little from where
  36. it currently stands but with all the new stuff in it.  We will wait and see.

  41. How many of you expect a man who just got out of tripple by-pass surgery to
  42. run in a marathon?  Well, I don't expect the Amiga to do so until it is
  43. healed either.  Lets get a grip and show a little patience.  This is not
  44. to say that AT (and SMG in North America) will have to do what they may
  45. consider a risk to get the Amiga to succeed.  Include 2MB Fast RAM as
  46. standard too guys!!
